Celebrating Seniors’ Week at The Wellington

The Wellington Community was pleased to welcome Della Burkitt from Hon. Justin Wright’s constituency office as part of this year’s celebrations marking the 40th Anniversary of Seniors’ Week in Alberta.
Hon. Justin Wright, MLA for Cypress-Medicine Hat and Minister of Primary and Preventative Health Services, was represented by Della Burkitt, who brought warm greetings on his behalf.
On behalf of Minister Wright, Della also brought a thoughtful cake and a crib board, both of which were well received. The visit provided an opportunity for residents to gather, connect, and enjoy a meaningful moment together.
A highlight of the visit was the opportunity for residents to engage in conversation, ask questions, and share their perspectives. These interactions reflect the spirit of Seniors’ Week, recognizing the contributions, experiences, and voices of older adults in our communities.
