At Park Place Seniors Living, we believe that purpose, contribution, and community have no age limit. This spirit was celebrated at the 2026 Top 7 Over 70 Gala in Medicine Hat, recognizing seven remarkable older adults who continue to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
We are especially proud to celebrate David Carter, a resident of River Ridge Seniors Village, who was named one of Southeast Alberta’s 2026 Top 7 Over 70 recipients.

David has a distinguished history of public service, writing, and community involvement. A former Member of the Legislative Assembly and Speaker of the Alberta Legislative Assembly, he has continued writing, mentoring, and sharing his knowledge well into his later years.
