Located in Ladysmith, BC, Oyster Harbour combines modern living with comfort and services you need in a warm and welcoming community surrounded by arbutus trees and overlooking the ocean. Oyster Harbour Seniors Community has 86 designated government funded beds, 2 palliative beds, 1 respite and a 12-bed Tertiary Mental Health Unit. Seniors will enjoy access to the many services and amenities Oyster Harbour has to offer. From quality dining experiences, daily housekeeping and laundry service to a range of exciting activities and social events – we’ve got you covered. Oyster Harbour Seniors Community provides a home-like atmosphere with 24/7 accredited nursing care support for Seniors who can no longer live safely or independently at home due to complex health care needs.

Homestyle Cooking
Our Food Services Manager, Donna Hiebert leads our kitchen team to prepare delicious homestyle meals daily. Each resident receives individual meal service in the dining room three times daily. Specialized menus are available for those with dietary restrictions through the consult of our professional on-site dietician. Family and friends are, of course, always welcome to join! ($5 guest meal fee with notice provided).

Security & Support
We are committed to ensuring you feel secure in your new home. For added security, each suite is equipped with an emergency alert system. Residents are provided with access to full-time daily living and nursing care support as well as specialized support for residents with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. Our residence is equipped with secure entry and exit points and is walker accessible for residents requiring mobility aids.
