“Back in 2000 when Jenny and I were looking to add another facility to our Park Place family, we visited Cartier House. What caught our eye was how caring and attentive the staff was to the residents. We were struck by the friendliness of everyone we met… what I remember most was a resident named Mary; she wore the biggest of smiles! As soon as we were out the door Jenny and I knew Cartier House was the place of choice. .”- Al Jina, President

Testimonials
“My sisters and brother wish very much to thank you from the bottom of each collective heart for all you and your hard-working staff did to take exceptional care of our father, A.L. You did it from the day he entered Cartier House and treated him with grace and dignity until the day he died.” C.B.
“I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care that you give to my mom. It helps me rest easier at night knowing that she is being cared for. Being a caregiver can feel like a thankless job sometimes, but let me tell you, I couldn’t appreciate the work you do anymore than I do already. You are all angels. I hope that you all get some time during this holiday season to enjoy some quality time with your family. Thank you for the quality time you give to mine.” S.E.
“We, the children of J.W., would like to express our sincere thanks for your caring and concern during our trying time. Words cannot express our gratitude for your dedication in making Dad’s passing as painless as possible. We appreciate the fact that everyone came to visit Dad, telling us that they enjoyed his company. The level of caring and compassion at Cartier House is exceptional and we appreciate all you did for dad.” P, L, & N. W.
“I just want to thank you for all the wonderful care you gave our Mother in the time she spent with you and our staff. Everyone was very caring and kind to her. She loved it there at Cartier House. Nursing Commitment & Promise
The nursing department at Cartier House believes that all residents admitted to Cartier House are entitled to a total needs assessment, taking into consideration their physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
We believe that each resident has the right to an individualized plan of care that includes family participation. Through a comprehensive facility orientation, nursing assists residents with the transition from previous resources to their new home. Resident strengths are considered in care planning thereby promoting independence and a sense of well-being.
We believe the resident has the right to expect empathy and understanding during their times of emotional, physical and/or spiritual need. We also believe the resident has the right to compassionate support during times of acute illness or death. The resident’s family has the right to the same support at this time.
We recognize nursing’s obligation to develop professionally, to enable the making of sound nursing judgments and decisions. Furthermore we recognize the obligation of nursing to work cooperatively with other professions and services towards assisting the resident in maintaining their best possible state of physical, psychosocial and spiritual health and in maintaining comfort and dignity through the dying process.
We recognize that Cartier House is our residents’ home and that all efforts are made to establish and promote this atmosphere.
