A New Chapter Begins: Groundbreaking Ceremony at Beverly Heights Seniors Community

Park Place Seniors Living is proud to announce the development of our newest community, Beverly Heights Seniors Community, located in the heart of northeast Edmonton. This thoughtfully designed residence will offer 264 senior living spaces, including 194 long-term care beds and 70 non-funded suites, all tailored to meet the evolving needs of Alberta’s aging population.

The project officially broke ground on July 16, 2025, with a ceremony that brought together over 80 guests, including community members, partners, and dignitaries. We were honored to welcome The Honorable Jason Nixon, Alberta’s Minister of Assisted Living and Social Services, His Worship Amarjeet Sohi, Mayor of Edmonton, Park Place Seniors Living President, Al Jina, and many others. Their presence underscored the importance of expanding access to high-quality senior care in Alberta.

What sets Beverly Heights apart is its 18 uniquely designed neighborhoods, each created to foster a sense of belonging, comfort, and personalized care. These neighborhoods will support a range of care levels and lifestyle preferences, ensuring that every resident feels at home in a safe, vibrant, and compassionate environment.

Construction is expected to be completed in 30 months, with doors opening in early 2028. Once complete, Beverly Heights will not only provide much-needed senior housing but also serve as a hub for community connection, wellness, and dignity in aging.

We look forward to sharing more updates as the project progresses and can’t wait to welcome residents to a place, they’ll be proud to call home.
