A Neighbourly Approach to Complex Care
Personalized care is embedded in the structural design of this new 56-room complex care home in Salmon Arm, B.C. Upon entering Piccadilly, residents become part of their own neighbourhood, since each wing of this new care home is designed and designated as a separate neighbourhood: Aberdeen, Blackburn, Chickadee, Dogwood,or Enchanted. The 12 to 14 residents in each neighbourhood share a lounge, kitchen, activity and dining area.
This division of residents into smaller neighbourhoods means no one is overlooked. Care is individualized and each person is readily recognized by staff and their neighbours, with whom they share mealtimes and activities.
Each resident’s home within the neighbourhood is a furnished room with an electronic bed, overhead lift tracking, dresser, bedside table, armoire and a two-piece bathroom. Residents can personalize their rooms with a favourite piece of furniture or two and with wall photos and other mementos. Each resident is also invited to fill a Memory Box showcase outside their room with items reflecting their family, life events, and personal interests.
Accredited Care
Park Place Seniors Living is nationally accredited for the quality of care and services given to residents. This recognition by Accreditation Canada is your assurance that you or your loved one will receive professional, compassionate care 24/7.
