National Accreditation

The Accreditation Canada logo identifies facilities which have met national standards and utilize best practices when providing residential care for seniors.

Accreditation Canada is an independent, non-profit organization established 50 years ago as a voluntary accrediting body for the health care industry. Accreditation Canada is itself accredited under the International Society for Quality in Health Care and provides credible accreditation across Canada and Internationally for health care providers.

The rigorous accreditation process measures each facility against hundreds of criteria, including client care, safety, governance, ethics, and community integration.
